Visiting Instructors & Project Team Members
As an ISEE Visiting Instructor, Mike facilitates workshops and activities within the PDP. He is the lead communication instructor for the Akamai Workforce Initiative. He is an Instructor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
As an ISEE Visiting Instructor, Jason facilitates workshops and activities within the PDP, and has been involved in developing ISEE workshops and activities. Jason is an Associate Professor in the College of Optometry at the University of Houston, and is the Liaison for the Houston ISEE Chapter.
David is an ISEE Visiting Instructor, facilitating workshops and activities within the PDP. He is actively involved in the Akamai Workforce Initiative, including serving as lead instructor for Akamai’s internship short course, and developing and teaching engineering technology courses. David is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Hawaii Institute for Astronomy.
As an ISEE Visiting Instructor, Katherine facilitates activities and discussions held during PDP. Katherine is a Researcher at the Southwest Research Institute in Boulder, Colorado.
Anne Metevier, Past Core Developer/Instructor
As a core member of ISEE’s Professional Development Program for many years, Anne coordinated and has been actively involved in development and implementation of the PDP, ISEE’s cornerstone program. Anne also coordinated with Regional ISEE Chapters. Anne played a leadership role in developing, implementing and evaluating new programs, including ISEE’s Research & Development strand. She has stimulated many publications and co-written several successful grant proposals for ISEE. firstname.lastname@example.org
Andrew NortonAndy has served as a core instructor and workshop developer for ISEE’s Professional Development Program. He was on the development team of ISEE’s new program for mentors, and was actively involved in the Akamai Workforce Initiative. Andy is a graduate student in Electrical Engineering at the UCSC.
Gabriel has served as an ISEE instructor, facilitating workshops and assisting new ISEE Chapter participants in getting started. He is a Postdoctoral Scholar in Biochemistry & Biophysics at the University of California, San Francisco.
As an ISEE Visiting Instructor, Oscar has facilitated workshops and activities within the PDP. Oscar is a Postdoctoral Researcher at UCSC in the Department of Electrical Engineering.
