Caitlin Johnson

Caitlin Johnson is a physics PhD candidate at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her research focuses on learning how gamma rays are produced in active galactic nuclei. She combines observations from multiple telescopes and plans to bring her analytic skills and data driven problem solving to renewable energy and environmental science projects. Caitlin is passionate about teaching the process and skills of science, and hopes to bring inquiry based learning to college courses, public outreach and professional development of undergraduates.
