Design Institute

Participants in the PDP attend one of the Design Institutes offered in April and May, based upon the region of their teaching venue. Design Institutes include a substantial amount of time (~8 hours) in which teams work on their designs, in consultation with PDP staff instructors. Design time is broken up by sessions to guide teams and stimulate new ideas, and there are team-led activities (PDP “design tools”) that help teams in targeted areas of the design process.
