NEW Participants (and Returning Participants not applying to be Design Team Leaders): The application period for the PDP will open on January 06, 2017.
This page describes the process for applying to the PDP for regular participation.
Application process:
Step 1) If you did not complete the short Registration form, you will be required to do that before you can apply.
Step 2) Complete the PDP Application. Open January 6, 2017. Deadline to apply January 20, 2017.
Step 3) Review the Program Expense Summary page, to fully understand the costs associated with the full cycle of the program. Then complete a PDP financial planning worksheet (must save the PDF to your computer for calculations to work). Send PDF to isee@ucsc.edu. Deadline to submit worksheet: January 20, 2017.
Individuals who have registered will be able to review the teaching teams and venues available for your practical teaching experience. Please review the Summary of 2017 venues/teams, to determine which location and discipline fits your interests. This summary will be continuously updated as specifics are confirmed.

The application process includes reviewing and responding to information about the PDP, including:
- Telling us about your interests in relation to our themes.
- Making sure that our approach aligns with your goals.
- Telling us about the types of teaching teams that are of most interest to you. (Potential Teaching Teams will be posted by 1/6/17.)
