NEW Participants (and Returning Participants not applying to be Design Team Leaders): The application period for the PDP will open on January 4, 2018.
Application process:
Step 1) If you did not complete the short Registration form, you will be required to do that before you can apply.
Step 2) Complete the PDP Application. Open January 4, 2018. Deadline EXTENDED to Feb 8th, 2018. [tinyurl.com/pdp-2018-apply]
Step 3) Review the Program Expense Summary page, to fully understand the costs associated with the full cycle of the program. Then complete a PDP financial planning worksheet. Send PDF to isee@ucsc.edu. Deadline to submit worksheet: Feb 8, 2018.
Once the application opens in January, individuals who have registered will be able to review the teaching teams and venues available for their practical teaching experience. This summary will be continuously updated as specifics are confirmed. To get an early sense of which venues will likely be available in 2018, you can review the summaries of venues and teams from 2017 and 2016 (the 2017 venues are listed but may lack activity summaries, as we are still wrapping up the 2017 program).

The application process includes reviewing and responding to information about the PDP, including:
- Telling us about your interests in relation to our themes.
- Making sure that our approach aligns with your goals.
- Telling us about the types of teaching teams that are of most interest to you. (2018 teaching teams will be posted by 1/4/18.)
