Application Process for New and non-DTL Returning Participants

NEW Participants (and Returning Participants not applying to be Design Team Leaders): The application deadline for the PDP has been extended to February 13th, 2019.

Step 1) If you did not complete the short Registration form, please complete it in addition to the full application below in Step 2.

Step 2) Complete the PDP Application. Deadline to complete has been extended to February 13th, 2019.

Step 3) Review the Program Expense Summary page, to fully understand the costs associated with the full cycle of the program. Then complete a PDP financial planning worksheet. Send PDF to isee@ucsc.eduDeadline to submit worksheet extended to Feb 13, 2019.

Once the application opens in January, individuals who have registered will be able to review the teaching teams and venues available for their practical teaching experience.  This summary will be continuously updated as specifics are confirmed.  To get an early sense of which venues will likely be available in 2019, you can review the summaries of venues and teams from 2018 and 2017 (the 2018 venues are listed but may lack activity summaries, as we are still wrapping up the 2018 program).

The application process includes reviewing and responding to information about the PDP, including:

  • Telling us about your interests in relation to our themes.
  • Making sure that our approach aligns with your goals.
  • Telling us about the types of teaching teams that are of most interest to you (2019 teaching teams will continuously be updated).
