Application Process for New and non-DTL Returning Participants
NEW Participants (and Returning Participants not applying to be Design Team Leaders): The deadline for Part 1 and Part 2 of the application, and the financial planning worksheet is December 12, 2019.
There are three steps to apply to the PDP:
Step 1 - Application Part 1 HERE.
Application opens on October 10, 2019
The application gives ISEE general information about who you are, your interest in teaching and the PDP, and what funding you are applying for.
Step 2 - Application Part 2 HERE
Part 2 allows you to identify the teaching teams and venues that you are most interested in. This is required for all applicants. Please review the likely 2020 HERE, referencing the team numbers and venue names in Application Part 2.
You can review the summaries of venues and teams from 2019 and 2018 (the 2019 venues are listed but may lack activity summaries, as we are still wrapping up the 2019 program).
Step 3 - Cost Planning
Review the Program Expense Summary page, to fully understand the costs associated with the full cycle of the program. Then complete a PDP cost planning worksheet. Send PDF to pdp@ucsc.edu.
The priority application deadline for steps 1-3 above is December 12, 2019. Individuals who apply by December 12 will receive priority in acceptance to the PDP, fee waiver, and travel support.
Not ready just yet to complete the application? Fill out this short (< 1 minute) PDP Interest Form to receive updates and reminders about the application.
